Kiawe Outdoor Christmas Dinner

Yeshua from Kiawe Outdoor invited Chef Sarah Glover to join him as one of the chefs for a unique Christmas dinner in Hawaii. The highlight of the evening was cooking an imu—a traditional Hawaiian method of slow-cooking food underground. They buried vegetables over hot rocks and let them roast, and they also cooked up sourdough bread topped with caviar and lobster from the Big Island of Hawaii, cooked over coals with a rich seaweed butter. The evening brought together 60 friends and family from the island, all sharing in the joy and magic of community, tradition, and incredible food.
